To tide you over 'til the morning, when I've written up a full match preview, here are some charts and annotated screenshots from tonight's 3-2 win over Toronto FC. That stoppage time goal from Jonny Steele — his second of the sort — will go down as one of our great moments this season. I'm sure of it.
Jonny Steele finds space, scores goal
The skill Javi shows to get into space: outstanding. Pulls a defender to him, gets on the right side. Perfect. twitter.com/TheCrossbarRSL…

Javi spots Kyle perfectly here, who has moved into a great position to slice open the Toronto defense. twitter.com/TheCrossbarRSL…

And once again, brilliant positioning from Jonny Steele to grab the goal. Finds space in unorganized Toronto defense. twitter.com/TheCrossbarRSL…

Javier Morales narrowly avoids dangerous tackle, receives yellow card for his trouble
So, either Javier Morales is the worst diver ever, or he was trying to get out of the way. I'll go for the latter. twitter.com/TheCrossbarRSL…

#Nedinho wasn't perfect — little defensive contribution, just one tackle — but did well in the pass, 46/51. @RSLshow twitter.com/TheCrossbarRSL…

Good word. Javier Morales. 45/63 in passing — but five (5!) key passes, 5/11 crossing. twitter.com/TheCrossbarRSL…

Defensive passing
Jamison Olave and Chris Schuler combined for 92/107 in passing, one assist, 16 (!) headers — not the worst, eh? twitter.com/TheCrossbarRSL…

I am consistently surprised that Chris Wingert gets further forward than Tony Beltran. 92/110 passing tonight. twitter.com/TheCrossbarRSL…

RSL concedes on Avila guile
A shot of the defensive breakdown led to Avila's goal for TFC. A lot of guile on this one. twitter.com/TheCrossbarRSL…
